Playoffs: Semifinals!

Monday, March 2, 2015

Two close games and one blow-out have everyone’s brackets still intact. The Semifinal matchups are, as the regular season predicted, 2 v. 3 and 1 v.4.

At 6:30, #2 Urban MO’s takes on #3 Wells Fargo. The edge probably has to go to MO’s, a team that has been rolling (except for one hiccup against favorite the Loft) since New Year’s. Wells Fargo has orchestrated several come-back...

Week 11 Preview - The Only Constant Is Change

Monday, January 26, 2015

After a single week atop the standings in recognition of their come-back win over the Loft, Wells Fargo has turned #1 over to an Urban MO’s team that looked like the class of the league last week. This week looks ripe for more turnover as teams move up and down the leaderboard every week.

This week’s Feature Game of the Week is the 6pm tilt that pits the two hottest teams in the league...

Week 9 Critical to Prove Playoff Readiness!

Monday, January 12, 2015

After a first week back characterized by lopsided wins, Week 9 promises to up the ante on competition with a schedule that features 1 v. 2, 3 v. 4, and 5 v.6 games.

The opener hosts the 5 v. 6 matchup with #5 Pecs taking on #6 Flicks – a half-game behind Pecs in the standings. Both teams boast talented line-ups, but both teams have had trouble gelling and getting their entire rosters...

Happy New Year from SD Hoops!

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

2015 kicks off with an Urban MO’s team that has been off for nearly a month against a Flicks team coming off an impressive defensive effort in their last game – a win before the break. 4-2 Urban MO’s started the season strong with great performances from their lynch-pin – Johnny Stultz. Later in the first half, they had some trouble scoring the ball, averaging just less than 50 pts/game in...
