League Rules

  1. All rules are CIF (High School) rules unless noted.
  2. Two twenty minute halves. Three minute halftime. Clock only stops last two minutes of second half if within 12 point or less.
  3. There is a 10-second backcourt count.
  4. Four timeouts per game (reset to 1 timeout per team in OT).
  5. Overtime is 5 minutes. Clock stops last minute. One extra timeout per OT. Second OT is 5 minutes (running clock). Third OT is sudden death.
  6. A player receiving his first technical of the season receives a warning. The player's second technical of the season results in ejection from the remainder of the current game. A third technical results in ejection as well as a two-game suspension. A fourth technical results in suspension for the remainder of the season, including playoffs.
  7. Free throws are at the release not the rim (college rule).
  8. It takes 6 personal fouls for a player to foul out.
  9. Remember the "Jeremy Parrish" rule. Good Sportsmanship at all times!
