Getting Ready for the 2010-2011 Season: What You Need to Know

We're a month away from tipping off the 2010-2011 SD Hoops Season, and here are a few things you need to know:

- Our 8 teams are built via a draft every season, and in order to do a draft, the coaches need to see all members of the player pool. This means ALL PLAYERS must attend one of the coaches clinics (September 22nd or 29th from 630pm-845pm). You are free to attend both days, but MUST attend at least one. Bring a light and dark colored shirt (no fee required). If these dates are a problem for any of you, please contact the commissioner IMMEDIATELY and he will take your request under consideration.

- Register online to pay your fees for the season. This year it is a flat fee of $75.00. Which MUST be paid before you participate in the first regular season game.

- The draft party will be held Saturday, October 2nd at Flicks from 6-8PM. Rosters will be unveiled throughout the event.

- October 6th: Exhibition game for every team

- October 13th: Regular season begins.

- Regrettably, we had to cancel our 3-on-3 Hoops for Hope tournament (Sept. 18), but will explore finding another date for the event.
