Week 7 Results

Just a friendly reminder from the League - our sportsmanship policies are being enforced. The board has determined that outbursts and player communication with the referees have no place in our league. All league officials are being encouraged by the board to enforce our sportsmanship code diligently. Cumulative Technical Fouls carry increasing sanctions, which can be found in the league by-laws. Keep a lid on the outbursts and let your coaches advocate with the referees.

In more interesting league news: In a premier match-up, Big Mike's Sports Rub continued its dominance by containing reigning MVP Patrick Schoettler. Will anyone have an answer for Big Mike's guard play? Pecs came away with its first win with a balanced attack and solid play in the closing minutes. In the following game, decided by a single point, timely three-point shooting and spotty free-throws turned the tables on Urban Mo's, and Bulls and Bears orchestrated a comeback, leading the game only at the buzzer. The athletic play of The Loft kept things close against Baja Betty's, hurt again by turnovers. But ultimately the scoring onslaught of league-leader AC Carter (34 points) was too much for the smooth-shooting Noah Ingram (33 points) and The Loft.
